UFOs, Aliens, and Racism:

Racism, Colonialism, and the Strong Delusion Behind the UFO Phenomenon

By Joseph Jordan

Introduction: The Hidden Bias Behind the Cosmic Myth

When Western culture first turned its eyes toward the heavens in search of visitors, it did not leave its prejudices behind.

The modern UFO and alien-abduction narratives are not neutral mysteries of science; they are mirrors reflecting our own cultural hierarchies—race, power, and pride projected into the sky.

This book exposes how UFO lore and “alien enlightenment” myths reproduce centuries-old ideas of superiority and deception, re-packaged for the space age.

Whiteness and the Space Visitors

From the very beginning of the modern UFO era, one pattern quietly embedded itself into the mythos: the race of the so-called “space brothers.”

Beginning in the 1940s and 1950s, the most influential contactee stories described beings who looked strikingly European—tall, fair, blue-eyed.  These “Nordics” embodied the post-war ideal of moral and physical perfection.

Figures such as George Adamski and Howard Menger claimed meetings with these radiant “Venusians,” whose pale beauty and gentle superiority echoed Aryan mysticism and Theosophy.

The theological danger is subtle but clear: salvation portrayed as a gift from a superior race rather than the Creator.

Scripture counters that “God made from one blood all nations of men” (Acts 17:26).

Any system that exalts appearance or “evolutionary level” above repentance and faith is a counterfeit gospel—a racialized version of the serpent’s old promise, “You shall be as gods.”

The Colonial Gaze on the Cosmos

The UFO narrative repeats the structure of colonial encounter.

Aliens arrive as explorers, missionaries, or rulers—bearing technology, morality, and authority.

Humanity plays the role of the “primitive tribe” awaiting enlightenment.

From The War of the Worlds to the contactee movement, extraterrestrial “saviors” simply replaced European conquerors.

This cosmic colonialism mirrors Babel’s arrogance.

Where empire sought dominion over continents, the UFO myth seeks dominion over the heavens.

But Christ reversed the pattern: the higher became lower, the Lord became servant.

Any being demanding obedience because it is “more advanced” reveals not divinity but the spirit of domination.

Race and Abduction Narratives

With the 1961 Betty and Barney Hill case, the benevolent visitor became a violator.

Abduction stories introduced medical procedures, hybrid breeding, and fear of contamination.

The themes echoed eugenics—purity, experimentation, selective reproduction.

Beneath the surface, these stories projected cultural fears of racial mixing and loss of identity.

The “gray” aliens—identical, emotionless—became symbols of dehumanization.

Scripture exposes the lie: salvation is not in superior flesh or perfected genes but in spiritual rebirth (John 3:3).

The abduction myth turns redemption into biology; the gospel restores it to grace.

Missing Voices: UFOs in Non-Western Cultures

Long before Roswell, Indigenous and non-Western peoples told of sky beings and fiery chariots.

Yet Western UFO theorists rewrote those accounts through an imperial lens, crediting “ancient aliens” for achievements of African, Asian, and American civilizations.

This is cultural colonialism reborn: genius denied to brown hands and attributed to pale visitors.

When Chariots of the Gods? and its imitators turned sacred histories into extraterrestrial engineering reports, they replaced revelation with racism.

The heavens declare the glory of God, not the superiority of outsiders.

True discernment restores dignity to every culture by recognizing one Creator behind all wisdom.

Media, Power, and Representation

Hollywood became the pulpit of the UFO religion.

Films like The Day the Earth Stood Still presented a white cosmic savior, while darker aliens signified chaos or threat.

Television “experts” and journalists—nearly all white men—defined which sightings mattered.

Thus, even the imagery of wonder reinforced earthly hierarchies.

Beneath the cinematic glow lies a counterfeit gospel: peace without repentance, unity without truth.

These luminous “messiahs from the stars” echo Paul’s warning that “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Cor 11:14).

The screen became a new altar; the idol, enlightenment through technology.

Spiritual Racism and the Cosmic Hierarchy

Theosophy’s “root races” evolved into New Age “starseeds” and “ascended masters.”

Movements like the Ashtar Command, Galactic Federation of Light, and CE5 divide humanity by vibration: some “higher,” some “lower.”

Old racial hierarchies re-emerge as spiritual elitism.

This is pride in metaphysical clothing.

It promises contact through purity of frequency, not humility of heart.

Yet Jesus taught that “the greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matt 23:11).

The cosmic hierarchy is inverted by the Cross: the highest descended to serve the lowest.

Red Flags and Biblical Truth

Each layer of the UFO myth exposes a red flag:

  1. Superiority as salvation – the idol of pride.

  2. Contact as conquest – colonial theology.

  3. Evolutionary redemption – salvation without blood.

  4. Unity without truth – peace that denies repentance.

  5. False light – inversion of good and evil.

  6.

The Bible dismantles every counterfeit.

Equality is rooted in creation, not evolution.

Authority is measured by servanthood, not advancement.

Discernment tests spirits by their confession of Christ (1 John 4:1–3).

The so-called “beings of light” fail that test.

Toward a Redeemed Understanding

Every deception points back to the same invitation: return to the Creator.

Freedom from alien oppression and racial division alike begins with repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

At His name the counterfeit experiences cease, the fear lifts, and the hierarchy collapses.

We are not orphans in a cosmic wilderness; we are image-bearers of God.

The true “contact event” was not a saucer’s landing but the incarnation of Christ—the Word made flesh.

He crossed the ultimate distance to rescue His creation.

The heavens will indeed open again—but for His return, not theirs.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout.” (1 Thess 4:16)
